Up for auction is 1 FENDER HM STRAT. This axe is the rare early 90's version that was made in japan. featuring a real Floyd Rose Pro made in USA tremelo,H1-Dimarzio Super 3 pup in bridge pos and H3-Dimarzio Evolution in neck pos, both are custom usa dimarzio's made for this guitar. A single in middle pos with 5-way switching and an upgraded Sprague VitQ tone capacitor.
This axe delivers the hard rock tone and with a slight roll of the vol both pups clean up better than you'd believe, even bridge pup cleans up nicely and with 5-way switching you have a very versatile guitar.
the neck is a fast maple neck with a maple fretboard and JUMBO frets with alot of life left on them. the contoured body is i believe basswood it's light and resonant with nice tone even un-plugged. I also owned a new 89 hm strat and this one sounds and plays alot better. The guitar is set up with maple spacer blocking tremelo from pulling up, still goes down, it's intonation is set and stays in alot better tune as i can't stand floating tremelos. Simple to remove if you choose to.
As you can see this axe is in very good condition with only very light play wear and most is on the pickguard, the pots are smooth and noise free. Included with the Strat is a gig bag. Payment is due no later than 5 days of auction end, NO EXCEPTIONS!
